Is SurfStitch coming back? Is it the same?

Yes SurfStitch is coming back, but with a whole new heartbeat. New owners, new systems, new team… the works. What’s launching soon is a fresh start focused on local brands, smooth service, and a shopping experience that feels good again.


Will you stock the same brands?

You’ll see a mix of the much-loved labels you remember, plus new independent and local Australian brands who share our love of coastal living. Supporting small creators is a big part of our new direction.


When is the new SurfStitch launching?

Very soon. We’re in the final stretch now, getting the last few details right. The site will go live in the coming weeks with fresh brands, new drops and some returning favourites that you’ve been asking for.


Are old gift cards, points or credits still valid?

We know this is disappointing, but anything tied to the old business including old gift cards, loyalty points and store credits, can’t be honoured. The new SurfStitch doesn’t have access to those old records. New gift cards, credits and offers released after launch will be fully supported.


Can I become a supplier?

We’d love to meet you. We’re open to partnering with local and emerging brands across surf, swim, lifestyle and wellness. If that’s you, reach out to us at customerservice@surfstitch.com, we’re building something new and there’s room on the wave.


What happened to the old SurfStitch?

The old SurfStitch business went into administration in June 2025. The brand has since been rebuilt from the sand up by new owners. We’ve reset everything, from product curation to fulfilment, so the relaunch is a clean break.

Orders placed after launch will be in safe hands, handled by a new team, with secure payment options and clear tracking from the moment your order ships. We’re rebuilding SurfStitch to be the kind of store we’d trust with our own money.
